How much does high level cleaning cost?
High level cleaning costs £400 to £1,200 a day including access equipment. Rope access teams run £600 to £1,400 a day, a mobile platform is £200 to £450 a day on its own, and a tower is £60 to £150.

Book everything at height for the same visit. The platform is hired for the day whether it cleans one thing or six, so glazing, light fittings, signage and ductwork done together cost barely more than any one of them alone and a great deal less than three separate mobilisations.
What moves the price
- The access method, which is the largest line in the quote.
- Height, and whether a platform can reach or rope access is needed.
- Floor loading and the route in, which decide whether a platform is possible.
- Working hours, since the area below has to be closed off.
- How many positions the equipment has to be moved to.
- Whether the hire is inside the price or charged on.
Questions about high level cleaning
What is rope access for?
Places a platform cannot reach: atrium glazing over a stairwell, external facades with no hardstanding, plant that sits above something fragile. It costs more per day and is often cheaper overall than the alternative.
How often is it needed?
Annually for most atrium glazing and light fittings. In a warehouse it follows the dust loading, and an insurer or a fire risk assessment will often set the interval.
