How much does medical cleaning cost?
Medical cleaning costs £18 to £28 an hour. A GP surgery visit is £50 to £120, a dental practice £40 to £90, and a periodic deep clean of treatment rooms is £250 to £800.

Ask for the audit sheets as part of the monthly invoice rather than on request. A practice that collects them all year has its evidence ready when an inspection is announced, and one that asks the contractor for twelve months of records at short notice usually discovers how many of them were never written.

Questions about medical cleaning
What does colour coding mean?
Cloths and mop heads assigned to particular areas and never shared between them, so nothing carries from a washroom to a treatment room. It is the foundation the rest of the specification sits on.
How often are treatment rooms cleaned?
Daily at minimum, with between-patient cleaning of surfaces and equipment done by clinical staff. The contractor's job is the scheduled clean and the periodic deep clean, not what happens between appointments.
