A range takes roughly twice as long as a single oven and does not cost twice as much, which is worth knowing before ringing round. Most of the work is in the parts: every shelf, liner, burner and pan comes out, gets tanked and goes back in the right place.
Reassembly is where experience shows. A door put back wrong on a modern oven will not seal properly afterwards, and a caustic paste left on an enamel it should not have touched marks it for good.
